My previous game, Final Frontier, has been plucked from my dusty pile of prototypes, and had life breathed back into it as a brand new game also Forged in the Dark! I link this for prosperity (this was my first Blades hack.. An experiment that began in late 2015 which actually predates Runners!). Which us to say ...

..you won't need it. That's just a fun thing that can work with the right players. But not worth playing when you can play This! 

Everything you need to play and run a great game is included in your purchase on itch. If you played Final Frontier, you can expect a very different game. Its got a much lighter resolution system, faster setup and readthrough, and powerful playsheets designed to maximize your fun. Extra care was taken with every word, to ensure that gameplay is smooth while hoping to provide unrivaled levels of player expression at the table. Fun ways to express your characters? Check. Rewarding ingenuity? Check. Weird aliens you can just describe? check!

Also of note is the involvement of Sean Sullivan, a budding author and high-productivity redditor, who is currently making their name in the Forged in the Dark design space. Their input on the starting situation and guiding certain aspects of the initial development earned them a credit in the text. What will your input add to the game?
